Modalités de participation au BOOTCAMP
- Le E BOOTCAMP 2019 se tiendra le samedi 26 octobre, à la grande salle Morin, de 9 à 17 h.
- Le E BOOTCAMP est une activité volontaire et parascolaire parrainée par votre association étudiante AGEL.
- Nous avons obtenu un grand succès avec cet événement unique par le passé, une vingtaine de projets sont présentés à chaque année. Certains gagnants du E-BOOTCAMP ont réellement lancé leur entreprise par la suite.
- La participation n’est pas obligatoire, mais nous encourageons fortement tous nos élèves à vivre cette expérience enrichissante, particulièrement ceux qui sont de jeunes entrepreneurs en herbe et qui ont hâte de pouvoir lancer leur propre entreprise un jour.
- Les activités se tiendront principalement dans la grande salle Jean-Paul Morin et dans les salles connexes aux alentours.
- Des bourses seront remises aux équipes gagnantes. Un jury sera formé à la fin pour évaluer la qualité des projets. Chaque élève qui aura participé à la journée E BOOTCAMP se verra automatiquement remettre un Certificat de reconnaissance par la direction du Collège par la suite. De plus, des prix de présence seront disponibles provenant de commanditaires.
- Procédure : dès le début de la session, formez votre équipe de 4-5 personnes et choisissez entre vous un projet qui vous semble prometteur aux fins du E BOOTCAMP. Désignez également un chef d’équipe pour votre projet.
- Des ateliers dynamiques seront offerts, à partir de mi-septembre, pour ceux et celles qui voudraient se préparer et travailler en avance sur leur projet. Le projet sera élaboré et peaufiner lors de ces ateliers et il sera complété de façon intensive lors de la journée du E BOOTCAMP le 26 octobre.
- A la fin de cette journée, les participants devront présenter leur projet en 2 minutes et remettre 2 documents aux organisateurs : un canevas et un petit résumé de ½ page décrivant le projet d’affaires et aussi un petit vidéo décrivant très sommairement le projet qui sera transféré sur une plateforme électronique. Un jury va par la suite évaluer les projets selon une grille d’évaluation standardisée et déterminer qui seront les gagnants.
- Des bourses seront remises aux gagnants deux semaines plus tard, soit le vendredi 8 novembre, à la Plaza du 6e étage, de 11 h à 12.
- Les professeurs et les coachs vont procéder à la promotion de l’événement dans vos classes. Vous pouvez leur demander de plus amples informations au besoin.

Terms of participation to the BOOTCAMP
- E BOOTCAMP will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 9:00-5:00 pm in Salle Jean-Paul Morin.
- E BOOTCAMP is a voluntary and extra curricular activity recommended by your student association AGEL.
- Last year, we had great success with this event. Around 20 business projects were created and presented. Following this event, some winners decided to start their own business.
- Participation is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage all students to take part in this rewarding experience, particularly students who consider themselves young entrepreneurs who are looking forward to launching their own business one day.
- Activities will mainly be held in the Jean-Paul Morin room and other adjoining rooms.
- Prizes will be awarded to the winners. A jury will be nominated to evaluate the quality of all projects. Each student who will have participated throughout all the events will be automatically awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the College Directorate. Also, some special prizes will be available from our sponsors.
- Process: At the beginning of the semester, form your team of 4 or 5 teammates and choose amongst you, the best business idea for E BOOTCAMP. Make sure to also nominate a team leader for your project.
- Dynamic workshops will be offered from mid-September for those who would like to prepare and work ahead on their project and participation is strongly recommended. Your project will be developed and refined during these workshops so that you will be prepared for October 26, E BOOTCAMP day.
- At the end of E BOOTCAMP, the participants will have to present their project in a 2 minute pitch and give two documents to the organizers: a canvas and a small ½ page summary describing the business project and a short video briefly describing the project which will then be transferred to an electronic platform. All projects will be evaluated according to a standardized evaluation grid and the winners will be selected.
- Prizes will be awarded to the winners two weeks later , Friday, November 8th, on the 6th Floor Plaza from 11:00 – 12:00 pm.
- The teachers and coaches will promote the event in their classes. You will be able to ask for more information when they present the project.
